The user interface resembles an enterprise software system (eg, SAP, PeopleSoft). After all, your objective is to make business decisions based on information that is available to you.

There are several sections in the system: news, my dashboard, people, land, capital, the economy, and market research.

The news section presents a share price ticker tape, news of significant events, official announcements, press releases and advertisements from players, and analyses from players.

The dashboard is where you'll run your company or hedge fund. It is modelled along the lines of a dashboard in an executive information system.

The people section is where you can search for and employ workers for your company, including the CEO.

The land section is the map of the game. All business units in the economy are visible on the map. The map is scrollable and colour coded.

The capital section is the gateway to the game's sharemarket and bond market. Here is where you can raise capital, as well as invest and speculate.

The economy section presents statistics on the economy, cross section charts, charts of trends, and tables of data.

The market research section is the market research report. Accessing this part requires a subscription.
