The game includes a newspaper called The News. It is presented in the style of a traditional broadsheet.

The News contains columns on notable events in the game, official announcements, press releases and advertisements made by players, feature articles written by players analysing specific companies, markets and/or the current economy, an area that displays who's online, and, being a newspaper, advertisements.

The headlines and articles are unique to the current economy. Thus, players in economy 1 will have different news from players in economy 2.

Press releases, advertisments and features are actually content from the player community discussion board. Every player is welcome to publish an article, to make a press release, and/or to post an ad. Descriptive, meaningful, catchy headers generally stand out.

Most headlines and articles are presented in reverse chronological order. The analyses section is displayed in order of ratings. This way, the feature articles that are rated highly will receive notice.

The center of the newspaper is the main area. It contains headlines of notable events in the game.

The newspaper is particularly useful to players who haven't been online for a day or so and need to catch up on what has gone on.
