From the front page, click on "sign in", then "register as a player". Enter your name, or a name by which you'd like to be known in the game, a password, your email address and your location. The system will send a confirmation email to you. You must click on the link in it to continue.

An email address is required mainly for identifying an account. It is also useful if you have forgotten your password. Your email address will not be shown publicly or passed on to third parties, unless required by law to do so.

Note that Active Data Online does not send out non plain-text emails with file attachments. Take special care if there are attachments of any kind or links to suspicious websites in an email purporting to come from the game or from Active Data Online.

It is prohibited for a person to create and use more than one account. The reason is that it is unfair to those who play the game with only one. The system will check a number of things including email addresses, IPs, PayPal IDs and other available information to catch out players who break the rule. What's more, everyone is encouraged to look out for and report suspicious trades and activity. Players caught using more than one account may be thrown out and banned from the game.
